Berry Picking

As missionaries we find the greatest joy in the simple things. For example bubble gum/candy machines on random corners or that the rain started right after we made it inside. Those little tender mercies we seemed to find every day.
We were visiting a sister in one of the outskirt towns and the train only came every few hours. We has spent the entire day tracking in the area and had missed our planned train home so had spent more our planned in that area. By the time we arrived at the train station we were starving. I don't know why we hadn't eaten during the day but we seemed to have missed lunch that day along with the train. So there we are at this tinny little train stop a little down on our selves. When all the sudden we looked over and there on the side of the train stop were some berry bushes. They were beautiful and full of these great looking berries.
I was not daring enough to the berries as I didn't know if they were poisoned or not and I wasn't about to test that fact. However Sister Christopher was without fear. She reached in and picked those berries and they were delouses.
Here was Sister Christopher reaching in and eating these berries unaware of anything wrong. When however we got back on the train here arms were all scratched up and she was breaking out. We are not sure what the plant was but it created a rash on Sister Christopher's arms. Pour Sister Christopher was so sad and her arms irritated her the rest of the day but we had enjoyed some really good berries.

That sounds like such a sad story it wasn't supposed to be I wanted to show that we really did see some wonderful Tender Mercies providing berries was just one of many.
